Sector reality

The world this system had to work in

Outbound B2B sales in India runs on phone calls, and cloud telephony vendors charge per seat per month for the privilege of tracking them. For a growing sales floor that rental becomes the single largest line after salaries, while managers still cannot hear the calls that matter.

The challenge

Cloud telephony rentals at ~₹8,400/seat/month made outbound sales expensive to scale.

What we found on day one

  • Cloud telephony rentals of roughly ₹8,400 per seat per month made every new hire an expensive decision
  • Calls made from personal SIMs were invisible: no logs, no recordings, no disposition data
  • Managers coached from CRM notes typed after the call, not from what was actually said
  • Switching numbers on onboarding meant reps lost the customer relationships attached to their existing SIMs
What we built

The solution

We built TeleValley: an Android app that routes and logs calls through each rep's own SIM, records them with consent, captures live disposition and syncs to the CRM the team already used. A Django backend stores call metadata and recordings, and a manager dashboard surfaces call volume, talk time, outcomes and recordings for coaching — with no per-seat telephony rental.

01

SIM-based call routing

Calls placed and received on the rep's own number, logged automatically to the central server.

02

Call recording & storage

Consent-aware recording, encrypted storage, retention rules and role-based playback.

03

Live disposition capture

One-tap outcome tagging after every call, feeding pipeline stages in the CRM.

04

CRM sync

Two-way sync with the existing CRM so leads, notes and next actions stay in one place.

05

Manager analytics

Talk time, connect rate, outcomes per rep and per campaign, with recordings one click away.

06

Admin console

Team setup, number management, audit logs and export controls for compliance.

How we ran it

Our approach, step by step

01

Designed a SIM-routing layer that logs every call to a central server without per-seat telephony rentals.

02

Added call recording, live disposition capture and a CRM sync the sales team already used.

03

Shipped a live analytics dashboard so managers could coach from real call data.

04

ROI was visible in the first month — the product became one of our own portfolio lines.

Measured results

The outcome

  • Telephony cost per seat fell by 60% in the first month, with no loss of tracking or recording.
  • 100% of outbound and inbound sales calls are now logged and recorded, up from roughly a third.
  • Managers coach from real call recordings; connect-rate and conversion improved within the first quarter.
  • The product proved itself so well it joined our own portfolio and now runs across multiple client sales teams.
“TeleValley cut our telephony bill by more than half without losing any tracking. The ROI was visible in the first month.”
