How we work

Real software by week three — not slides.

A four-stage process built around working software, weekly demos and full visibility. You get shared Jira, a Slack channel and an architect on the call — not a sales bot.

The problem it solves

Why most software projects go dark between kickoff and launch

A typical vendor engagement starts with an enthusiastic kickoff call, then disappears into a black box for two or three months. You get a status email that says "on track" whether or not it's true, and the first time you see working software is the week it's supposed to launch — which is also the worst possible week to discover it doesn't do what you needed.

That silence is expensive: by the time a misunderstanding surfaces, months of work sit on the wrong foundation, and fixing it costs far more than catching it in week three would have. Worse, "on track" status updates train stakeholders to stop asking questions, right up until the deadline slips.

Our process removes the black box entirely: a working thin slice by week three, a live demo every Friday, and a written sprint note every Monday. You always know exactly where the project stands, because you can see it running.

Signs you're in a black box

  • "On track" is the only update you ever get

  • You haven't seen working software after week four

  • Questions get answered by a project manager, not an engineer

  • Scope changes surface as an invoice, not a conversation first

How we work

A process built to remove delivery anxiety.

No black boxes. You get shared Jira access, a Slack channel, and a working demo every single week.

Pipeline live — average kickoff in 5 business days
01

Discovery & scoping

Week 1

A free 30-minute call with a software architect — not a salesperson. We map your goals, constraints and success metrics, then send a written scope with a rough estimate in 3 business days.

  • Stakeholder interviews & workflow audit
  • Written scope + rough estimate in 3 days
  • Success metrics agreed before any code
02

Architecture & prototype

Week 2–3

We design the data model, integrations and security posture up front, then ship a thin-slice prototype of the riskiest part — real working software in week 3, not slides.

  • Architecture & data-model sign-off
  • Thin-slice prototype of the hardest feature
  • Stack choice justified in writing
03

Build sprints with weekly demos

Ongoing

Two-week sprints with a live demo every Friday. Shared Jira, a dedicated Slack channel and a named architect on every call — you always know what shipped, what's next and what it costs.

  • Working demo every week — no exceptions
  • Shared Jira + Slack, full visibility
  • Code review & tests on every merge
04

Launch, handoff & support

Launch +

A load-tested, zero-downtime launch with a rollback plan. You own the code and every credential from day one — backed by a 24-hour response SLA and monthly health reports.

  • Load-tested launch with rollback plan
  • Full code + credential handover, you own it
  • 24-hour SLA & monthly health reports

A week with us

What lands in your inbox every single week.

You never have to ask where the project stands. The shared board shows every ticket, the Slack channel carries every decision, and the Friday demo shows the software as it actually is — not as a slide describes it.

That rhythm is also where your time comes back. One demo replaces the status meetings, the written sprint note replaces the chase-up emails, and the 24-hour SLA means no decision waits on a vendor who has gone quiet.

  • Friday: a live demo on real software, 30 minutes
  • Monday: a written sprint note — shipped, next, decisions needed
  • Any day: a reply inside 24 hours, usually under 4
  • Month-end: a health and cost report you can forward to finance
Your time back

Six ways the model saves your team's time.

Every figure below is a mechanism, not a promise — a contractual term or a fixed delivery ritual you can check on any engagement.

2–3 wksCut from procurement

Written scope before code

A scoping call, a written scope and a rough estimate in 3 business days replace the weeks of proposal ping-pong most projects start with.

6–10 wksEarlier first release

Thin slice in week three

Working software settles requirement arguments in minutes that documents take months to resolve.

4 hrs/wkOf your team's time

Friday demos, not status meetings

One 30-minute live demo a week replaces the daily check-ins, status decks and 'quick calls' that eat your calendar.

3–5 daysCut from typical reply time

24-hour response SLA

Questions get a written answer inside a business day, so decisions never wait on a vendor who has gone quiet.

1–2 daysSaved every month-end

Parallel runs before cutover

Payroll, inventory and billing go live only after a reconciled run on your real data — no month-end firefight after launch.

2–4 wksSaved at every vendor transition

Code and credentials from day one

No handover negotiations, no hostage code, no rebuild when you change vendors. Everything is already yours.
